MOVE Texas is a youth-lead nonprofit organization that inspires underrepresented Texans to become more involved in civic engagement. Tijerina and MOVE first met in 2018, and since then she has had many different roles working with the organization. Through the National Artist of Texas Fellowship, Tijerina was tasked to create a number of illustrations and videos for MOVE's social media. Tijerina has also gone through the organization's Artist in Residence Program both as a junior and senior artist.
